Jon Galt is a conceptual artist working in a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, film and words. He earned his BA from Boston University and has exhibited in New York State, Greenwich, Conn., and Sedona, Arizona. He believes he is called to challenge homophobic thinking through art and to represent for the thousands of gay artists who were decimated by the American Aids Crisis of the 1980-90's. Mr. Galt lives with his husband in North Stamford, Connecticut. Although they now enjoy the 1138 rights of legalized same-sex marriage they still fight for the ALL the rights of gay people and refuse the notion that anyone should be treated as a second-class citizen.
